Holiday Online Scentsy Party for Quinten!

We are having another online Scentsy party to benefit Quinten! The party will be open now through December 15th. Another Way To Help Quinten!

Hi, Crusaders! This is Amanda's sister, Jennifer Adams Johnson, here with another fundraiser to help out the Dopsons! Gold Canyon candle company is putting together a fundraiser for Quinten to help defray his medical costs. This page has the list of scents available and a look at the sizes. 8 oz. is 16.00, 16 oz. is 20.00 and 26 oz. is 24.00. You can message me, text, or call me (913-522-8647) with your order. Quinten's Crusaders Giant Garage Sale!

Please mark your calendars for the next fundraising event for Quinten! Come out to Cedar Ridge Christian Church on July 9th on for some hard-core garage saleing, a bake sale and hourly raffles:

2nd Annual Piper Alumni Softball Game to Benefit Quinten!

The Piper High School Softball Team is hosting their 2nd Annual Alumni Game and Homerun Derby on June 4, 2011, from 10:00am-3:00pm.  The event will be held at the field located at Piper Elementary School, 3131 N. 122nd, Kansas City, KS 66109.

Last year the Piper Softball Alumni event raised $500 for two school aged children who lost their mother to breast cancer in 2000.  This year, they have graciously decided to donate part of the proceeds of the event to the Quinten Dopson Fund.  Profits from the t-shirts and bracelets sold at the event will go to Quinten’s fund.  Please come out and show your support!  (Seating is limited so bring a lawn chair!)

CureSearch Walk - April 30
There is still time to be a part of Team Quinten's Crusaders as we join CureSearch in their childhood cancer research efforts. The walk is Saturday at Arrowhead Stadium - check in is between 7:30 and 8:30am. To join the team or make a donation, please visit www.curesearch.org/kansascity/quintenscrusaders.

Professional Photography Fundraiser - May 14/15
Don't miss out on this amazing deal! Details and instructions on how to book your sitting are on the attached flyer (or email me your email address and I'll send you the flyer). Sittings will be offered both of these days with Soma Photography Studio; all proceeds go to the Dopsons. Spots are limited, so book your family photos right away before it fills up!

Indoor Garage Sale - July 9

We Still Need You April 30th!

Calling all Crusaders! I know there are more of you out there who want to join us as we fight childhood cancer and join in the search for a cure.

The CureSearch Walk is Saturday, April 30th at Arrowhead. The walk is around 2 miles and circles both stadiums. You can stop at any time and it is not a run. It is a chance to join other patients and their families as we come together to show cancer that we aren't going to take it! There will be fun and games for the whole family.
It is only $10 to sign up as a walker on Quinten's team. If you cannot join us that day, you can sign up as a virtual walker for the same price. Or if you don't want to be a walker at all and want to simply make a donation to his team, you can do so on his team homepage.

Rendi Fundraiser for Quinten!!

Hey Crusaders, spring has finally sprung and so have the opportunities for you to help little Q! We've got another great way for you to help AND get some stylish, original decor for your home.

If you're not familiar with Rendi, it is a fairly new company that sells customized frames and home decor. The price range is $19.95 - $39.95. All products are made in the USA (in Colorado) and are planet friendly, using 100% post-consumer recycled wood and water based finishes.

Quinten's Foul Out Cancer Bracket Challenge Is Here!

Ok, Crusaders, we've got another great way for you to help the Dopsons and have 
a little fun with Quinten's Foul Out Cancer Bracket Challenge! You don't have to 
be a basketball fan to participate, just a Quinten fan! 
 
The Rules: 
$10 minimum donation per bracket 
No limit on the number of brackets per person 
Standard scoring applies (1st round wins = 1pt, 2nd round wins = 2pt, 3rd round 
wins = 4pt, etc) 
Half of all donations will go to the Dopsons, the other half will be awarded to 
1st, 2nd and 3rd place as follows: 
1st Place - 60% 
2nd Place - 30% 
3rd Place - 10% 
All brackets must be submitted by 11am CST on Thursday, March 17, 2011. 
All donations MUST BE RECEIVED BY MARCH 23rd - no exceptions. If your donation 
is not received by this date, your entry will be removed. 
 
How To Enter: 
Go to this website: http://www.quintenscrusaders.althage.com/ 
Create an account (you will create a log in and password) 
To start your bracket, click "create new entry" 
Complete your bracket by clicking on the name of the team that you choose to win 
each game 
Select a name for the bracket to appear on the score page 
Guess the total points in the final game (used as a tie breaker, if necessary) 
Save the entry 
Create additional entries if desired 
You may go back in and edit your bracket by clicking on the name until you 
finalize it 
Finalize your bracket by clicking "submit entry" 
Once your bracket has been submitted, you may make your donation online by 
clicking the "Donate" button - using this option, you may pay by credit or debit 
card or via PayPal 
If you wish to mail a check, you may but note that your entry will be removed

You are AMAZING!

The official number is in and we raised just over $6,000 Sunday! A special thank you to Llywellyn's for letting us crowd into their great little pub for four hours and to Perrin and his bar and wait staff for putting up with us all evening and donating their tips to help little Q.

Thank you to everyone who provided an item or items to be auctioned or raffled and to the Anthony Davis Association for the awesome sports memorabilia! Please also keep in mind FreeStyle Graphics for any of your printing needs in the future. This is the second time they have helped me out for a fundraising event and they definitely deserve your business.

And of course thank you each and every one of you that came out to show your support for the Dopsons! They are amazed, humbled and grateful for your generosity.
